Moved to Essex today. I'm bored and lonely already :(

Hi my new found fellow-southerners. I moved to Essex this morning from rainy Edinburgh and I know literally zero people in this entire county. I need friends. I'm 23, drive a Clio Cup (to be replaced with a Z4MC in the nearish future) and love long walks on the beach.

Welcome, I'm bored as well seeing as the weathers been a bit bad today,and I've not had my weekly dose of andrenaline,maybe tomoz may bring some nice weather.
If you can make it to South Woodham Ferrers, there's a PH meet there on thursday evening, see the post a few below this one.
Nice area you come from,perhaps one day I'll get there for a visit.

Hi and welcome to sunny Essex. As Bob said theres a meet at The Lodge so you should come along, it will be my second time at this meet, the first since selling my A8 oil burner and picking up my Cerbera a couple of weeks ago.

I'm currently living in Langdon Hills/Laindon. Nice and close to Bas Vegas!
I might come along to the meets - I've never actually done a car meet in my entire life. Would need to dust the Clio off after its 600 mile journey over the last 24 hours.
Edit: Just took a look at the car list for that meet - bloody hell! My Clio may as well be scrapped That'd be quite an awesome sight so I'll make it if I can

I'm over at lakeside, just across the A128 from yourself. If you fancy going up to South woodham ferrers on thursday let me know.
I also went out for a Hoon across hanningfield reservoir on sat morning, so if you fancy a spin next sat let me know. You need to be up early but its worth it. (As long as its dry).
Fingers crossed I should be picking up my new car on saturday arvo so if you fancy a battle of the Hatchbacks let me know

I went for a drive yesterday in the sun to Southend for a look about...bloody hell there's far more traffic here in a Sunday than my old town on a Monday morning! If I want to 'enjoy' my fleeting time with my Cup, I'm going to have to get up rather early I'm over at lakeside, just across the A128 from yourself. This Saturday I'm meeting a friend of mine in Central London as he's living in Surrey these days. I'll definitely let you know when I'm free though.
I still haven't decided if I'm going to the meet at South Woodham Ferrers yet but I'll let you know what I decide.
