Littlehavens Supercar Trackday At Dunton 18th September
Discussion
Littlehavens Trackday 4 cars only
This event is taking place next week. We have 4 driver places left for Ferrari Lambo or Aston. Please pm if you want to fill these last 4 places. Everyone is welcome to attend and support the charity .
The event starts at 9.30am on Sunday 18th September and is based on giving rides around the track to members of the public and ends at 4.30pm.4 registered cars only
If you arrive anytime after 08.30am , you will be given the opportunity of practicing on this banked track that is very different to a normal flat track.
When you arrive be careful as there are a number of speed bumps after you enter the Fords Dunton Area – I strongly suggest a slow approach.
Please check your insurance – you will be aware of track day restrictions. You will be asked to sign a waiver for the organisers and you will be given and fitted with a wrist band, without which you will not gain access to the test track. Passengers will also be required to sign a waiver and be fitted with a wrist band this will protect you from third party claims. Crash helmets will not be necessary and are not required.
Eight cars at a time will be on the track and drive 2 laps approximately 4 minutes total. No overtaking will be permitted and a maximum speed of 90 mph has been suggested you must bring current MOT if applicable drivers licence and be over 30 years of age
The track will be managed by marshals with flags. The reality is that with 8 cars on track, this will act as a brake and extreme speeds won’t be possible. Fords will stop any excesses but as we will have passengers, we will not want to terrify them.
When returning to the unloading area, the marshals will be waiting to help passengers out. You can then return to the new passenger area or go to the adjacent area for a break.
Each ride will be charged to passengers at £20.00 and we expect to do 800 rides during the day. We are restricted as only 8 cars can go on track at a time.Blue Ribbon cars will be £30.00 458n and MC4 12C are examples
It promises to be a great day as there are many other attractions and many more than last year.
Due to the nature of this event we are likely to have many drivers wishing to take part there are 4 places available please apply to me on pm and so we have to ask you to confirm your car registration, this will be checked on arrival and if people are not pre registered they will not be permitted to go on track. In the event of oversubscription priority will be given to those that have helped the cause in the past by driving, fundraising etc
Bacchi (Harsh) is helping with the Promotion and Marketing of the event and we are really grateful to him and all at Petrolhead Nirvana for joining the team. We expect around 4000 visitors on the day who will be asked to pay an admission charge to help the fundraising effort.

Bruce, as you are down for the essex meet at the Lodge on Thursday it might be worth twisting the arm of the guy who is coming in either an F40 or an Enzo You never know, he might be obliging .......... think his user name is Dion and unless i've got my wires crossed i think i was talking to his brother today
I'm looking forward to doing my bit as i'm on the PN list
Looking at the list on CS it looks like Lambo's are in short supply Shame the Mosler has dropped out this year aswell

Afraid I seem to have two identities as I have messed up sometime
Bruce 430 scud and cuthbert are one and the same how do I correct this
Decide which identity you want......... then when you come into the forums section from the main page you'll see a menu bar at the top of the page, move your cursor over the one that says Links and a drop down menu will appear......... select 'Log Out'Bruce 430 scud and cuthbert are one and the same how do I correct this
Then log back in using the idenity you want and place a tick in the 'remember me' box
From then on each time you enter the forums you should be who you want to be, but if you find you are the wrong identity again........ Log Out again and don't log back in.
I think that should do it........... hope so anyway

Working there this Sunday as a marshall! Will be working in the Supercar loading area apparently, cant wait
See you in the afternon then! ( Blue M400)A good day out as always. The best sound IMO had to go to the Lamborghini Countach on the over-run..... huge pops and bangs and flames
Having said that Dell's Griff sounded good along with the de-catted (I assume) Ferrari 355s.
Here are a couple of my photos from the day:

1970 Dodge Coronet by Matthew Poxon, on Flickr
