Lowered Jaguar MK10 (?) spotted in Billericay
Discussion
Coming home from work last night around 7pm, what looked like a lowered Blue MK10 Jag absolutely thundered past in the opposite direction.
Looking at some photos of these cars, they appear to hug the ground in any case but this thing looked especially low and it was very loud.
I'm curious if anyone else has seen this car or knows of it - it was a bit of a beast.
It is now on my want list, along with a Rover P5B and a Rover Vitesse 3.5 (I've already got the creme de la creme of Rover output - the 416GSi Beast-o-matic)

It has a twin supercharged 8 litre chevy v8 with nitrous, and is supposed to be running about 900bhp!
^^^^^^^^^^^^ ThisThe car is a regular at The Hare meet on the first Saturday of every month and well worth a nose around

hi, first time on here, friends keep telling me to log on. I'm the MK10 Jag owner! I've owned it for 10 years and just recently completely refurbished it. Also just rebuilt engine, as I melted 5 pistons at the Sep 10 Drag race meeting. Too much boost! Here's a couple of up to date photos
What a glorious car! Welcome to PH. stats on mk 10 beast:- 8 litre twin superchargers. Was 900 hp have now tamed it down to 650 ish as I use it more on the street than track. My last drag day it ran 12 sec 126 mph, still spinning tyres at 60 ft. 0 to 60 around 3.5 seconds. Most important it makes me smile when ever I drive it. Drove it to Le Mans 24hr weekend a few years ago.
Staggering, what a beast !!

I appreciate it's rather late in the season but will you be taking the car to any meetings in the foreseeable future. I'd love to see it close up and in the flesh. When you went to Le Mans did you have a BP Tanker as a travelling companion?

I followed you off the A12 at the Stock/Galleywood exit a few Saturdays ago I believe,I was in my blue Noble M400 and you gave it a nice little fishtail as you left the mini roundabout. It looks truly epic on the road! I had a look at the car at duringthe airfield meet at Cocks Clark in the summer, that car is something you should be very proud of.Gassing Station | Kent & Essex | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
