I am meeting with a mate for a trip to France, (Range Rover towing and Austin Healey, and a Harley Davidson to Nice on Friday. He is coming down the M11 to Dover, I am working in London and heading from there. We are hitting Dover around 10pm. Anyone got any ideas for a safe on steet, or tame hotel car park I can leave my car until Wed, pref close to the M2 ?

Thanks

Bluewater, but I'm not sure how often they check carparks to see if cars have been left. There are no signs saying anything about max stay.

Often is the answer... Due to the terror threat anything left unaccompanied overnight is likely to be found on the back of a tow truck somewhere before sunrise... After of course being given the once over by some Army Bomb disposal chaps...

How about the motorway services near Gillingham on the M2? Or Buckmore park? Ask at Buckmore though, because if they have a event on, your car being left in the middle of the paddock probably wouldn't go down well.

Hmm, that gives me an idea. Blue Bell Hill village... quiet, next to the motorway, no thieves... Who would know...

How about Ebbsfleet (Eurolink) railway station car park?

If you park in car park D it is only a fiver for 24hrs, and is covered by cctv.

The inn on the lake carpark, right on the A2/M2 and lots of people use it to leave cars and car share.
