Romford to Norwich

I'm driving the above route on Friday morning, leaving Romford c.8.30am. I've got a choice of 2 routes - M25/M11/A11 or A12/A14/A140. I'm inclined to use the M25/M11/A11 but would be grateful for anyone to let me know if this is not a good idea. I know the M25/M11 can be bad (and I will obviously check this out before I leave) but what is the A11 like at this time of the day?

I know from experience that the A12/A14/A140 route can be slow hence my inclination to use the M25/M11/A11 but I am open to suggestions!!

I do that journey often and unless always tend to go M11, unless there are significant traffic problems (usually Elvedon).

As I said, I was favouring the M25/M11/A11 route but just wanted some confirmation from the local experts that this isn't a bad decision.

Same here. London to Beccles via Norwich.

Don't be surprised if you see several Pher's in Vipers / Corvettes / Mustangs on the M11 at that time as we are attending the American Air day at Duxford on Friday. We are meeting up just off the A11 A505 / A1307 turnoff at the World Famous Cafe just in case you fancy stopping somewhere for coffee.
