A20 Roundhill Tunnel

Ok this has gone on long enough.

What the fkity bks are they doing!?! One lane, at 30 mph with a scamera over some ramp? Is this a permenant feature or will we be trusted to drive through a tunnel again some time in the near future. The ques its causing are mental in rush hour.

Anyone with any ideas? I wouldnt mind but i use that tunnel twice a day and have NEVER seen somone working on it!!

Some issue with repair and parts that have to be made or something. I believe it was unplanned. It's not long term.

I heard that there was a problem with a part that connects the tunnel to the main roadway. They were originally fixing it late in the evenings (couple weeks ago now) where they would divert you off the M20 as the tunnel was inaccessible at night (divert you up the sugar loaf hill road which is a great little sprint!). Now the part has been fixed I think they require it to bed in- and so a reduced speed limit is there to help....I'm regularly stuck in that traffic... in a blue Audi S3 with silver mirrors...so give us a wave!

Im in a white clio 197 Cup, with smiley on bootlid. Go through about 7:40 am or 6 pm ish, il keep an eye open!

Another lane to be opened coastbound though still 30mph limit and no sign of a proper repair.

Yeah, just a shame the signs didn't help, as they were still showing a lane closed. Have a nice oppertunity for a quick tunnel blast though empty outside lane and roof off

We just went through there, nobody seems to understand both lanes are open as they were all using 1 lane?
