Would be happy to meet near Rochester, say the castle? If coming from Kent.

Or Thurrock services? If coming from Essex.

I was thinking of leaving home, not far from Rochester castle at about 6.30 on Sunday.

Very odd, with all the cars booked in for the Sunday service, surely some people must be going up from Kent or Essex.

Im going up through town,
Blackwall tunnel,
Limehouse
Skirt along embankment
Up to the A40
Along to Denham
out past Denham Park,
will be on the M20 maidstone sometime around 7.00am

Few tunnels leisurly pace etc etc.
It will probably take twice as long as M25 but will be more interesting.

I`m booked in but can only stop for a couple of hours as playing cricket in deepest Kent in the afternoon. Weather permitting of course ~ forecast crap at the moment.

Sounds good. How about meeting at the shell on garage on Blue Bell hill?

Say 7am? The one with the Mickeys diner? Perfect for fuel too.

I am tempted - it would be good for airfield days,
Driven by the right wheels,
it has the right badge,
enough seats and i thought they are pretty unburstable.

although it doesn't look anywhere as neat as yours!

but the wife loves the little 4motion and I would need to get rid of that to create the space.
