Old vehicle graveyards / scrapyards
Discussion
Hi,
Just after some help, my dad is visiting NZ next month for a holiday. He's mad keen on old British trucks/cars etc & there seems to be quite a lot still about in NZ.
Ive found him details of museums but what he really loves visiting are old scrap yards full of derelict vehicles! The only place like this I can find on the web is Horopito Motors which is an amazing looking place!
He's mainly visiting the South Island so not sure if he will get chance to visit Horopito.
My question is does anyone know of anywhere else similar to the above which are worth a visit?
Thanks for your help.
James

If your Dad is into wrecking yards then Horopito Motors would be an interesting place to visit. If he can't get there he could always watch the movie.

from the outside, this place is a graveyard/scrapyard and just a bit better inside!
