Environmental Health Officer Graduate Jobs NZ
Discussion
Hey guys im sure this is done to death, but any advice would be awesome.
Im 22 and am studying for an MSc in Environmental Health which I will graduate from May of next year.
I have always had an interest in living in Australia or NZ. However I think NZ would suit me more (Temp, no animals that can kill you, lack of people). When I graduate I was planning on taking a 12 month working holiday with my long term girlfriend to decide whether or not NZ is the right place for us to live.
I have researched EHO (Environmental Health Officer) jobs and jobs in similar fields in NZ and there seems to be a lack of them. However my lecturer said that they particularly value UK EHO's. As a graduate who will only have 6 months of experience. What are the chances of getting graduate employment, or would local governments rather have experienced immigrants as EHO’s. Are these types of jobs normally advertised online or is it a case of you just apply even though no vacancies are listed. Ive also checked that my MSc is transferable.
Thanks
