Anyone going?
I wont be as I'm down in Chch and I dont really like Ozzie cars...

BUT

there is an Elise support series and the Porsche GT3s.

Still the V8s are exciting to watch, good close racing

Is it going to be on TV live over the weekend? I wont be able to make it either , I just want to see the Elises in action. I went last year and got free passes to Gillettes corporate box.. brag brag brag

there'll be somestuff over the weekend, check www.nzoom.com for listings prolly wont cover the Elise races though

Oh and there's also the last races of the SuperGT series.

I caught Hansen on the telly last W.E -in the handicap race. On that last lap he went past three cars like they were parked!!!

Yeah I saw that too.
Seems like the Tuscan is a bit of a handful in the wet.

I'd imagine anything weighing 900kgs with 535bhp going through the rear wheels would have your buttocks chomping on the seat-fabric!

It sure is a beautiful wee beastie though.

Watched the Tuscan and the Chev Camero going at it in the wet at the Manfield meeting about a month ago.
Suprisingly in the wet the TVR whoooped ass. Shame there's nothing else in the Super GT series that can keep even close to those two. There's a GT3 porker, but that looked way off the pace.
