Hey all,

Im Matt, have just joined after having the odd read of the forums over the last couple of years. Couldnt find anywhere to really introduce myself so figued what better place than the region Im from.

Ive got an 82 Mini City (1000) and a 94 Subaru WRX-SA wagon, Ive recently been getting quite involved in events with the WRX, can see some of my videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/LANkillaNZ

Nice to see you at the Tuakau/Waikaraka Park events. I edit the magazine for the Hibiscus Coast Club, and might be out and about at some of those events. Make sure you try and do some Autocross events, they are even more fun than Motorkhanas.

This year ive been involved in the Fiat Car Club tarmac series (Formerly the Teng Tools tarmac series) where ive competed in an Autocross, a Bent Sprint and in 2 weekends time Ill be competeing in a Hillclimb. Also in the last 12 months Ive taken part in low level events at Pukekohe, Taupo and Manfield.

Cheers, not often you see an AWD with all 4 lit up, was wrapped when the photographer sent me that image, and they WERE my good Dunlop RE-001 tyres too... Not so much any more

The rally boys are not much of a fan of these. Normally the tarmac events are ony held when the weather is a bit Auckland-ish. Plus, we have members who own a a farm and a quarry, compete with some excellent access roads, which allows for relatively inexpensive hillclimb events. The rallysprint at Hampton Downs was fantastic though.
