I'm unlikely to be in the run this year. I've been on holiday for nearly a month now. I will show up at the start and have a look.

Who knows? I might find another $250. The GTI is faster now it has been chipped.

Well 175 Cars Turned up

The costumes were amazing Shrek and Fiona took best costume
and Pricilla queen of the Cannonball run took best theme.

Hotrods , Ferrari, Astin Martin, Gt40, you name it we had it.

Everyone had a great day, the crew did an amazing job.

Look for write ups in every magazine we can get them into.

The overall winner will be announced in 2 weeks time when we've gone through all the photo's.

Yes everyone. They got maximum points on the fireman mission.


Actually I didn't hear anyone complaining despite a few breakdowns and about 1/2 dozen tickets being issued. With 175 cars participating I think it went exceptionally well. Mike, Vaughan and their helpers did a fantastic job.

Only the 27 minute YouTube video that has now been removed. I was told it was the final cut. It was not too bad an effort. Perhaps Auckland Motorsport had it pulled as the CDs might be available for sale when they "get a round tuit".
