Well, arrived in Welly on Friday just gone, wife and kids won't be here for another 3 weeks, so if anybody fancies a beer one evening, please give me a shout!

Currently staying near Lambton / Willis, happy to go for a wander.

Cheers

Hi there! Evenings are tricky for me as I have twin boys and a wife who needs my help by evening time! Happy to meet for a beer at lunchtime though - anyone else?

Takes little persuasion to get me out for a beer, count me in. Evenings are easier than lunchtime, but I work in the centre of town so most places are convenient.

While we're OT Mark - Have you got your bike with you or is it floating it's way over on the ocean?

Zaphod - don't think I should commit to a lunchtime given I start my new job on Monday! Know the score with kids though - we have a 15 month old and 3.5 year old, so evenings will be more difficult when they arrive. How old are your boys? BTW I will be trying to secure a rental property in Paraparam tomorrow.

Wilkco - sadly bikes are hopefully floating somewhere between UK and here, but I know there are a couple of guys at work who cycle, so might be able to borrow something, or might be able to pick up something on Trademe. Cheers for the advice the other day! Capital Cycles seem to have the odd good deal, so will definitely be taking a look around there at some point!

Do you want to suggest a venue and day/time, as I've no idea of the good places to go, and my diary is empty!

Cheers

This thread needs a time/venue! How about Malthouse on Courtenay Place at 6pm Wednesday?

Sounds good, I can do that but would need to leave at 6.45 to get to another "do"

5:30 kickoff then?

Mark - I'll pm you my mobile number so I can spot you trying to ring it when you arrive wink

Just a thought - would anyone rather the Railway Station end of town? I don't mind either way. Options that way could be Black Harp, Leuven...

Either end of town works for me. I'll be there around 6

5.30 works for me.

I work on manners street so Malthouse would work for me but can do elsewhere.

Will be a test of if I can recognise Don after about 2 years...

Ain't that always the dilemma with kiddies. Beer first followed by late arrival at the Kindy will work very welll I'm sure...

Anyway - the Malthouse it is I guess, I'll be the lost looking chap, most likely looking a bit cold, somewhere between 5:30 and 6:00.

Hmm - my email should have been picking it up but didn't. I'll send mine via pm as I won't get chance to check my personal email before tonight.

Cheers
