New head unit!?!?

Anyone in chch recomend somewhere to buy and/or fit a new head unit?
Cars a forester (1998) with a standard scoob pos double din unit in there, cd doesnt work, dont have tapes etc.
Not wanting to replace speakers a 98 forester isnt going to be a hifi enviroment....
All I want is FM radio (the rock...) and someway of connecting & possibly controlling an ipod, prefer non sony decent brand (pioneer etc).
