Wellington region beer and Sunday run
Discussion
What where when? This thread needs details!
Couple of weekend blat suggestions;
We could pop up to see Omerta on his kapiti 'farm'... we might end up being presented with a chainsaw or other agricultural implements though...
There is always Martinborough, or fish & chips in Lake Ferry??
If we can book a dry day, I'll bring the 7

Can't do beers unfortunately due to child raising commitments, but count me in for a weekend run.
Would love to see Farmer Dons new place, but SH1 isn't the most exciting of drives - although a convoy of exotica through Slowtaki could be fun - might even find a cafe who'd give us free coffee and cakes... 80)

We're a bit short on facilities up there for now. i.e. it's two sheds, a water tank and a caravan. Anyone for a grass gymkhana on a paddock that's almost entirely free of hidden rocks? Maybe next year...
We'll throw some ideas around tomorrow evening then and report back. Any more for a bevvy at Leuven? I know there's one or two semi-lurkers out there that haven't spoken up yet....

We did talk about a Sunday run, in amongst some Cortina talk.
We reckon we should meet up around 10.30 (allows time for Richard to arrive from Kapiti) and head off up SH2, reaching Martinborough for a coffee and maybe head off the beaten track a bit, lunch and head back.
We can set a date, then let the weather dictate if we go or not.
Anyone interested for next weekend (30th May)? (I can't make that as I will be moving house)
