Looking good - 120 cars arriving from foreign lands to put a field at around 400. Some of the ones that caught my eye in the entry list are below....

www.nzfmr.co.nz

Porsche Speedster - Ernie Nagamatsu USA

Lycoming Special - NZ!!!

David Fitzsimon’s fabulous 1965 Ferrari 275GTB Competitione (UK)

Bloomin fabulous Group 5 Zakspeed Escort (NOT a replica)

One of a very fat field of Super Historics - a 1982 Ralt RT4 Pacific

Lovely Formula Junior Elva from the UK

Also got a promotion to tell you about - anyone turning up in a Pre 1974 car with the appropriate period dress code can put their car in the VIP enclosure at the main gates and get two general admission tickets for free...

Just email me at richardATnzfmr.co.nz - first 50 only and MUST be in period car and clothing or will be turned away from enclosure and won't get the freebie! Pass it on!

Already got my 6day All Access Pass. Even considering period costume. It would be nice if there was a VIP area for non period cars. I hate the idea that I might ever have to leave the Atom in General Parking.

I agree on the parking bit, i am considering driving the 111R up and would appreciate a designated parking area (gosh that sounds snobby!) Perhaps we could arrange a PH parking area?

Not really snobby; more cautious than anything. When all your bodywork is fibreglass and held on by dzus clips you do tend to worry. I guess I could also chain my steering wheel to the car rather than carry it around all day. Although it does make for a good conversation starter.

I'll be popping over for the McLaren Festival events, I'll be there with the UK based McLaren CanAm cars and the 8.8 litre March 717, so come say hello and I'll give you a good look at the Big V8's Bruce and Denny loved to drive.

Hope it's warmer out there than the UK right now!
