While I have cursed the rip-off merchants that are Plates.co.nz for years. I've also harboured a secret desire to put a personalised plate on the shed and have occasionally spend the old hour or two toying around with various idea's. I didn't want anything to cryptic or anything to obvious aka Elise or similar. The thieves have been putting their prices up at such a rate you'd think the Kiwi dollar was pegged to the Zimbabwean equivalent. Finally bit the bullet tonight thanks to copious amounts of a rather tasty drop of Shiraz that was on special at Foodtown. smile

Thieving mongrels the plate is worth more than the car ffs!

Love the plate Ian. It's perfect. Plates are dare but still cheeper I think than overseas. On the whole we are lucky to still find some great wording/letter combinations still available.
8yrs ago I think was when I got my pp and spent $1k all up with upgrading to a euro p later on. Thought it was daylight robbery back then.
There are some good finds on trademe also

The best decisions are always made over a nice bottle of red.

I always buy a plate voucher off TradeMe. Much cheaper that way.

Plate looks good BTW.

Nice one Ian. I think Andy (drac) will be pissed off because I think he wanted that plate eventually for his 111R wink

Still, it's a god'un and will look good on the shed.... hopefully I won't see it cable-tied across the air intake at the front! Although bear in mind that not having a legal front number plate is now worth 20 (or is it 25) demerit points.
