Well it looks like Christchurch have orginised a run, the Auckland folk have one too...what about us Wellingtonians?

I am happy to act as liason and organisor, and am open to routes and dates etc etc.... so lets see what response this idea gets, initially get a show of hands, work it out as we go to suit those interested?

I had in mind:-

Meet bottom of Haywards

Drive over the hill to get lunch and wine

Take a scenic drive about and return at everyones leisure...

or

something different form the norm?

OK looks like we have enough interest to make it worth while...

I will have a think about routes, but if anyone has any ideas lets hear them...

I will have a look a the calender and sort out some dates that does not clash with Targa in town or the seaview sprint or the shelly bay sprints etc etc etc..

Count me in, if I can 1: get a day pass from the Ministry of Child Development (and the twins), and 2: sort out what's going on with my power steering and idling. About time the Chimp had some serious mileage. drivingdriving

Can you not put the twins on idle, then powersteer the wife to a cafe and do a runner before anyone notices.... LOL!

If you need a hand with the TVR give me a shout...I have the workshop manual for them.

I would be interested in this run if you don't mind a lowly S15 SpecR joining

To PH, been in Welly for 4yrs.

Haven't updated my profile.. I have a GTV twin spark, so probably not really a PH type car, a lot flashy and nice to drive, but relatively slow off the line... still it puts a smile in the right place.

Hi D1ggy
I may take you up on that offer, I've had some busy weekends and haven;t had chance to look at the Chimp, but intend to get her out of the mothballs this weekend and try and figure out what the problem is - may take you u on the offer of a quick borrow of the manual if its not obvious.
Cheers
Richard
