Following on from this thread

So who's got bits they'd like to bring out then? To kick this off I figure we need:

- A trusted and willing consolidator in the UK who will receive and pack bits into a box (or container even) and do any paperwork required.
- A trusted and willing receiver in NZ who will do the paperwork and running around at this end
- A timeframe to aim for. Ship by the end of October for delivery pre-Xmas?
- List of who wants in and what they plan to ship, incl. estimated size/volume.

I'd be willing to do the receiving at this end but as the shipment will probably be cheaper coming to Auckland maybe better someone up there does it?

Don,

Get hold of Jim. He has a container about to leave (or on its way already).

Leyton you may be thinking of my container which just arrived today..!!
Its got my TVR S3 in it along with assorted parts Jim wanted for KW.
If anyone wants up to date shipping quotes, I've got them from Crown & Anglo for assorted parts and Karman for sole car use.
It will be quite alot of admin for whoever takes on the management of a joint / share container coming over...the GST documents, invoices or valuations, along with spliting up the fees/payments will be some work. Likewise in the UK, the acceptance, handling and then packing will also be a fair bit of work.rolleyes

No worries - it doesn't look like there's a huge amount of interest anyway. The bits I want are not that big, just a bit heavy to post, but there's no rush for them.

I'm the same... not a LOT of stuff, just a few things that'll be spendy to post... things like a radiator and perhaps a fuel tank.... but these can wait and don't need to be implemented right away as part of this rebuild... they can be retrofitted at any time smile
