Ok who has handed over their cash and put their names down via clubs/events etc? TBH ive been reluctant to show any interest until I see the track complete. Its getting near though!! How exciting!! driving

The Hibiscus Coast Motorsport Club, of which I was a member (and will renew membership as soon as I buy a car) has a booking for one of the circuits early next year. I would not be too othered about putting money down, as it has got this far, and it would be very unlikely for anything that would inhibit its completion to occur, I think.

I'm booked with PlayDay for November and January.

HBC Club (where I live) has only done gravel events for years which is why I'm not a member there

Hi Nick, sorry for late reply been away most of the weekend. If there were no rules or too gooders around I would get the Larani straight sports pipe option in an instant. These have no cats or mufflers, but KW Historics would tan my rear - yep I asked already and he says NO not legal! Also trying to persuade a regular guy to sign off my car at WOF would be a hard ask.

The second option is to make up a custom system similar to what I already have but make fake hollow mufflers really small so they would appear to be cats like the Larini sports cat system on offer. Still pondering the options out there.

Im not keen on sports cats (Sport 350 No.008 just got burnt out cause last week of a collapsed cat - 40K pound repair cry ) and the std V8 sports system - too restrictive.

I took a drive out yesterday following a meeting in Auckland...... The place is looking fantastic, I am really looking forward to november now.

Oh and i am doing my first sprint at the end of october.....Around port rd seaview wellington, and then another sprint around the bays.

No doubt I'm not the only one to have seen this in my inbox this a.m:

We have just had word that sealing of the track has commenced.

Also the contractors met with management last week & confirmed the track will be ready for use by 1 Oct

See you there on 10 Nov

Cheers

Tony & Gary
