Dear Lotus owners. Does the club still operate? I sent an application in about a month and a half ago and have heard nothing. I've tried emailing the membership address and the pres and sec and all come back to me as invalid e-addresses. Any ideas much appreciated!

E-mail roger@lotuscars.net.nz .. he's the president.

I'm not sure who's doing what there at the moment. I'm currently inactive as I've got too much on my plate with my job and car build to do club stuff.

Thanks Kylie. I'm still getting all the correspondence. I'm just a bit p.o-ed about total lack of communication from the enrolment/subscription types. I'm with James: I think they've discovered my dreadful secret and are avoiding me like the swine-flu. Of course, to borrow from Mr Wilde, I would never join a club that would consider me as a member anyway (harummmph!)

Out of interest, is there a South Island based Lotus club (or branch of club)? The MX5 wants to be a Lotus when it grows up...

There are cheaper ways to drop oil, have electrical faults and generally become less reliable . . .

hehe

If it helps the MX5 sporadically tries to do those things too! But nothing major, and to be fair it is a 20 year old car with about 220,000km on the clock.

Hey there, nice to see ya Roger and lurkers. Mint day out there hooning eh even if we all managed a few dodgy turns playing following the leader. hehe Went home via the tunnels as Sally hadn’t seen them yet. Good fun.

I assume that I will not receieve an email telling me my membership needs to be renewed...I can take a hint, i am used to being an outcast LOL..... biggrin
