Can't see it.... they'll NEVER ban them in the US (more due to the popularity of street legal drag radials over there)... this will be a euro thing if anything and even there I don't actually see it getting through.

Could have an impact on the range and pricing though as it will presumably make for smaller production runs. frown

May end up like a trackday I saw in the states while I was there.... GT3 owner turns up with a very small, trailer (not registered or anything, it really was tiny) just big enough for 4x wheels/tyres smile

Most likely won't be an issue here as long as they are still allowed in the USA or Japan.

The best (currently) road-legal tyre for a Se7en (or an XTR2) is the Avon ACB10 (I'm guessing the CR500's would fail under the same rules).

As it's the preferred tyre for a Formula Ford it will probably still be available . . . but at a much higher price, and the days of driving to the track will be over for many ranting
