I got a text just now from a friend in Dubai which reads: It's official, Stig= Michael Schumacher. Is this news to anyone? (other than me) or is it bks? I am breathless with anticipation...

bks I'm afraid. Over the years Stig has been various not-quite-made-it-big-time racing drivers including from memory Jason Plato (before he went onto other things). Maybe Schuie did a cameo appearance, but I find it hard to believe he or they would want it to be kept a secret.

Quite good but you'll note the suit is a little baggy. Good PR and a laugh but not "The Stig"

Schumacher was recenlty used as the stig as they used his own Ferrari FXX for some laps of the topgear test track.....

its common knowledge that the stig is a british driver by the name of Ben Collins.
Has been known for quite some time!
He is always at the track when they do filming!
