Looks like it's on... 1992 Fraser becomes 2006 Fraser. Poop Poop! Sorry, did I say that out loud?

Wow congrats.... so what's the major impetus for the upgrade? As in in what ways is the new car a step forward from the old?

Hi Simon.I haven't taken ownership yet as previous owner has kindly offered to stow it for me for a couple of months or so while I find a new home for FR4SER. It's the 2006, metallic blue one that was on Trademe until Monday , if that's any help. Are you coming to Taupo on the 28th for the Fraser Track day? -assuming you have joined The Club.

I'd let you put a Fraser badge on the Westfield tongue out but I'm off around the S.I. then driving

Off topic - what route are you taking around the SI? You're welcome to drop in if coming through Central.

Hi Rob. It's pretty much all there on the Trademe listing. Faults? It's not immaculate-has been to one or two trackdays and has a couple of wee nicks out of the guards from incompetent trailer loading (ahem) and a hairline crack in the fibreglass nosecone. Also I had to have the skid plate tutu-ed with as it developed a rattle following me attempting some amateur earthmoving at Taupo. Scott, at Fraser Cars says there has been some sump contact too, at some stage, but nothing omenous. The chrome on the roll-bar will need re-doing at some stage-seems to be an inescapable feature of them-new one is the same. Basically I was in having new Toyos put on and saw Greg's one for sale and decided to go for it. I think this one has a bit more low-down pull than the new one-possibly simply as a result of the smaller wheels? It's been huge fun. I just don't need two! So far, upwards of 10% of those hitting the ad have watchlisted it, so it looks as if I've priced it right!

Yup, that's it. Thanks, Ben. Apologies for the dismal photography: It was raining..um, ..my camera's not very good...I was in a hurry...a big boy did it and ran away...... and, no,not from MX5; that's a Momo steering wheel!
