Hi there all, was suggested by Kylie Adams to sign up to Piston Heads forum and check out N.Z section.
So here i am, have just recently purchased 2000 Lotus Esprit V8 GT and am slowly getting up with play on info and sights to visit etc to school myself on the Esprit and other supercars alike, thanks to Kylie for pointing me in right directions and for all help so far much appreciated!!
Keen to hear from any one in ChCh region with either an Esprit of exotic car that may want to get out for cruise sometime.
Nick

Welcome aboard
As you're already in the S.I. I can highly recommend this event to try out all three S.I. tracks.
PlayDay PlayWeek
I'll be heading down to give it a crack and Tony (who is one of the PlayDay organizers) has an Esprit.
. . . I hesitate to say exactly which model as someone else here will rip me a new one when I describe it incorrectly . . . although it is yellow . . . but even that probably isn't the right name for the colour.

Hey Nick, glad you found the place
post up some pics of the beautiful beastie when you get a chance. You must be so thrilled.
Ive just sent you Simon Causers details, he has an early stevens esprit in CHCH and I am sure he would love to catch up with you for a hoon! Theres also another V8 owner in Blenhiem ill see if I can dig out his details too
Def sign up for the playday its a great way to to find out the cars limits and some nice straight line speed
If your nice to Graham he'll take you for some hot laps in the XTR2 its well worth the experience!
As said to you im dead keen to drive down end of this year for some touring around so we will hook up for sure if we dont catch up sooner.

hmmmm., playday week sounds great, will have to check the timing with work, also a bit hesitant to kill it within first year of ownership!!!
Will have to check out all the details, i gather u can't just do the ruapuna and levels? or u can but you pay the full price?
Tony is based in Taupo and is a really nice guy.

They will be letting people buy individual trackdays during that week IF there are any spaces left, but priority will go to those booking for the whole week. There will be a discounted price for individual days.
If you're thinking about it I'd suggest emailing ASAP to register your interest and find out the cut-off dates.
There is no need to kill your car

Edit: Braindead - Sorry Tony is in Taupo not Rotorua
