Rob Guest - is there a UK equivalent?

Having watched last nights (Sat 4 Oct) This Is Your Life tribute to Rob Guest, it made me wonder if the UK has the same sort of entertainer who did so much in the last 3+ decades and that would be missed in the same way.
He was a pop singer, a Vegas star and later a big musical theatre star.
The closest I can think of is Paul Nicholas but doubt if he has the same impact Rob Guest seems to have had in NZ.
(it just got me thinking...)

Well Rob Guest wasn't an actor or a comedian and they both did Vegas shows.

As a multi-talented entertainer Crawford is a good match. If however you're after the exact same mix of talents . . .

Now Chris Knox he's a true multi talent and an original. Max Media cartoons, videos (The Cleans Tally ho). Ee By Gum Them were the days...Goes off to fondle Slugbucket Hairybreath Monster EP and listen to my tinnitus (countesy of a mind numbingly loud Buzzcocks gig)

It was my kiwi Mrs saying what a great all rounder he was, and had been adaptable to maintain his career. I was trying to think of someone in the UK to compare. I couldn't think of anyone!

virtually any Uk division Soccer player can a) Play soccer. b) act! c)sing (to the ref) -though of course they may lose to certain latin American/Euro teams if judged on these skills alone.
