Anyone know what brand is behind the PAK'nSAVE Petrol ?

Their Fuel Dockets are used at BP stations but I'm not sure about the brand they sell on their own forecourts.

YTD spend on petrol is $6,748.78 yikes

Adding it up certainly caught me by surprise and will easily hit 7k before Christmas.

Might have to leave the 2 litre turbo in the garage and use the 1300 N/A as the daily driver hehe

Which just means anyone not using that is paying 15 c a litre more than if this promotion scheme never existed

I presume the 15¢ is the discount NOT the price per litre tongue out

You don't say what the price per litre is, but over here it's 1.029 GBP = 2.66195 NZD frown

I think the good stuff is $1.889 at the moment.

If you take salaries into account I think it would still be more 'affordable' in the UK.

I used to spend $15,000+ on petrol a year in the UK easy.

Prolly more like $5,00 here now. Far less miles and the forester doesnt drink like the RX8 lol.

It’s not really expensive when you consider they have to drill a well (several usually before they actually find anything), pump it out of the ground, pump it to a waiting ship, ship it ¼ of the way round the world, pump it to a refinery to be turned into something more usable, has some stuff added to it to make it better, it’s then got to be pumped into tanks, stored, pumped into trucks to be driven 100’s of kilometres to fuel stations, safely stored again and then pumped into your car. Not to mention the high proportion of the price of petrol that is tax.

It’d be hard to find a more efficient industry wouldn’t it?

With oil hitting $100 per barrel yikes anyone want to guess how long it's going to be before BP Ultimate hits $2.00/litre.

If anyone guesses 5 years (and gets it right) you'll win a chocolate fish tongue out

That's the one thing that those who complain about English prices never seem to see (or don't want to accept, as it takes the wind out of their whinge)

eta that wasn't meant to be a dig at you specifically John
