The wing on that white one is what yours should have wink

I never realised they were so prolific in Holland.. I knew there were a few, but not that many.

Kinda puts the Ultima to shame in that regard... at least the Saker has some proper racing pedigree... and decent length front A arms...

Hmmm... if only I can get myself a spare GTR body, and a Saker chassis!

There was an initial batch of 50 ordered and more have been made since. Bruce has suppliers in the US, Australia, U.K & Holland with Dubai also looking I believe.

It's funny you mention that as I am quite often on the Ultima forums although I don't think anyone knows what I own. There is always arguments on there over the chassis and A arms, lack of Ultima's racing, lack of factory presence at speed runs etc. I like them and I would be honest in saying I don't think I know which one I prefer.

They do have a higher level of finish but the Saker is more track focussed and therefor rarely has all the leather interior etc. I have heard from several people that one came to NZ a while ago and was slower than the Saker around Manfield but in it's defence that could be driver, setup or just local knowledge.

I am not sure how much work would be involved in fitting an Ultima body to a Saker chassis and I also know that Bruce would probably frown upon it biggrin

I heard Tony Philips' Ultima which has been built up over the last 9+ months in Wellington was to have it's first outing this weekend, at Manfeild I believe.

That's very interesting. I had heard he was getting one built to a fairly high spec I believe to contest the Targa. It will be interesting to see how the car performs.
