Roger

You need a pair tongue out

. . . of Se7ens hehe

It's a good price compared to a Westfield SEight. Can't be many V8 Se7ens in NZ bounce

Would it even be that quick with a Rover V8 in it, don't most of them struggle to make 200 bhp?

Even at 200 they still have a very impressive power:weight ratio.

Most seem to quote 240 bhp but maybe thats a flywheel v wheels figure.

Plenty of tweaks available for 'em as well.

Don't EVER be fooled by Rover power figures... they don't matter... the engine produces HUGE torque at about 5RPM, which makes them feel so muscular despite being a bit weak on power.

They're light too... lighter than a 4AGE wink

Yeah had heard they were torquey, and knew they were light for a V8 but still, lighter than a 4AGE is hard to believe and impressive if true.

I think I'd prefer the driving characteristics of a smaller, revvier engine in a Se7en type car but each to their own I guess.

Yep - my 4.0 Rover V8 was putting out 223 bhp on the rolling road. Then I upgraded to the Mark Adams custom chip and it went up to a staggering....227 bhp! Mind you it was much smoother in power delivery and a couple of weakspots at specific rev points were ironed out.
