I wonder what they want for it.....

That may be fast, but its one butt-ugly mothertrucker of a car weapon isn't it
ETA: I'd prefer this one. Better looking, more reliable, and probably a good bit faster

This would be a lot of fun too I imagine

It'll be over 100k of the Queen's finest I imagine - the previous owner reputedly spent a fortune getting it sorted. I saw it and heard it at Silverstone TVR a couple of years back and its impossible not to be impressed by its presence, if not it's beauty, particularly at full chat down the main straight. I think I'm right in saying its the only one of the few Speed 12 prototypes made that is in one piece and running.

You would be correct sir... and the only road-legal one of the bunch too I seem to recall And Ben... the first one's not a road car so don't count , the second one.... piece of history maybe, but meh

Get the Dauer road version then its probably cheaper than a factory race car too (I think its stretching it a bit to call the Speed-12 a road car anyway. Road legal perhaps, but so is a Radical SR8)The second one is a <900kg/250bhp race/rally prepped classic 911. Whats not to like?(except perhaps the colour.) I'd prefer a less historical one myself in case I broke it though...
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C15893 looks quite nice too, but I've heard too many stories about them falling apart to be that interested in owning one.

Or this... a snip at £595k. Vague memories of Clarkson parking one in a snow drift.... or was that someone/something else?

Pretty much an Enzo with a nicer body aren't they? I don't remember that but could be right. IIRC Colin McRae did that with a Murcielago though http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C21567
