"Rear suspension is Corvette"
Why would they have the engine ttat far forward What a mess !!!
From the looks of the pics, they've shunned the use of using a transaxle as you'd normally do and they've just used the engine in its FR format... IE the trans behind the engine, mated to a standard RWD Diff with a propshaft length of basically zero. Why would they have the engine ttat far forward What a mess !!!
sets the tone of the whole project if you ask me :P

I bet that makes the dynamics of the car rather 'interesting'... as in with so little moment of inertia it would spin like a top! You basically wouldn't be able to use the brakes or the throttle to balance the weight fore or aft either as it will rotate about the engine.sets the tone of the whole project if you ask me :P
Yea Gods! Chassis by the people who brought you the stock crate. I believe the front wind screen is also Corvette ( A rear window turned round).
First time a saw this layout was in an English "Super car" HAHAHA a V12 Jag engine and gearbox coupled via a single UJ to the Jag rear axle. The drivers bottom was on the front axle line and the body set back the art of origami 5 centuries, and I thought there will never be anything nastier than that and ...well there you go. Wrong again.
Cheers

Thats classic. I'd drive something like that just to see the expression peoples faces as you go past
Looks like it should have a decent amount of grip (low, wide track, big rubber, monster wing) but as with any amateur home-designed car limit handling could be a matter of roll the dice and see what its going to do
may well be better than the Corvette it stole its bits from

That's crazy.... I bet it's not as fast as it looks and I bet it corners like soap
With that much engine in that much car (or lack thereof) I suspect it probably is as fast as it looks in a straight line anyway. The soap/corners analogy may be quite valid though.
