Its up there with being called Apple and River, dont get me started. The gene pool of these people are usually quite clear. I feel so sorry for the kid and yeah he will get teased at school.

I can't link to the site from here, but from the title of the thread I assume it's about people who use numbers in place of letters?
Can't stand it, it's as bad as txt spk! There is a program on TV here called "numbthreers" or similar, WTF does that mean?

Close - some people are wanting to name their kid "4Real". The authorities won't let them use a name that starts with a number, so instead they're planning to call the poor kid "Superman" officially and "4Real" in person, unless they can successfully appeal the decision.

Seems to me the gene pool could use a bit of chlorine...

Thanks for that Ben, while I am not in favour of Government control in general, in cases like this I think there should be a panel (made up of "normal" people ie those with real jobs not public servants/ hippies) who review all names and have to approve them.

In fact (I will probably be accused of being a nazi) I believe that there should be a test you have to pass before being allowed to breed...
