www.magrepairs.co.nz/ This dosen't look right to me. Cast and forged wheels with major welding, that's contrary to everything I know. Anyone have a contact for the ex Wiri Wheel plant tech bods, I'd like to investigate a bit further.
Cheers

hmmm some of that damage looks pretty extreme. Just had Arrow wheels in Auckland do a weld repair on one of my magnesium jobbies, but this was just cosmetic damage to the lip and a slight buckle in the lip which was dressed out. I'd say once the wheel was knackered to that degree it'd be a throwaway.

I would rather throw them in the bin than use them or flick them off to some poor sod. My father bought some second hand Craigers (two piece rims) appeared to look clean like new for his Rod that were re machined after serious wear and tear. They must have machined them too far as one of them exploded apart, went flying across the garage floor and put a massive dent in dads very solid metal doors in the garage!! Lucky it didnt take his leg off or what ever else could have been in the way He naturally destroyed the others and got new rims from the states like he should have done in the first place
