They actually looked closer in person than in the photos too. All at 85-100km/h, eventually the driver of the white sentra got up the guts to (swerve around for a while and then) wheeze her way past the truck, probably giving the oncoming cars a nervous moment as they wondered whether she was going to make it.

Anyone else nearly instantly recognise that stretch of road? The yellow shed kinda gave it away for me though.

hehe it does give it away a bit. maybe we should have a thread on here where we post up photos of nice stretches of road and try to guess where they are? A bit like the trademe car thread, but a trademe road thread

Funny you say that as after I started that thread I went back to rename it "Interesting cars for sale" seeing as there would be others not on TM but couldn't edit the title

Not as eye opening as the guy I was following @ 5am through the twisties on the desert road (Waiuru). Nissan Praire packed to the hilt, roof racks with about 600-700mm high luggage. Now here's the good part...the sparks flying of the inside his right front rim/tire when cornering...um yeah and speed kills...rolleyes

If my wife wasn't asleep I would have filmed it!
