All you can see around there are some trees, I can't see a tree doing that sort of damage.

scratchchin Guess it depends how fast he hit it, trees are pretty solid. I saw a Supra that had hit a tree side-on in the middle of Christchurch once (boyracer/f&f type gimp, passenger allegedly hit nitrous button part-way round a corner when they were 'racing' someone). Anyway, it was pretty much horseshoe-shaped, iirc the only way I could tell what sort of car it was was the nose/headlights.

That said, how censored fast would you have to hit it to rip a car clean in half?

Been discussed at length in general gassing, bloke hit a tre at 100mph or so and ripped it in half.

Trees are tough.
