You've been to the NZ immigration website and used the points caluclator?

Is your proffesion on either skills shortage list? Typicaly you need two od Degree, experience & job + be on a shortage list.

If you're any good a laying bathroom tiles you could contact the MP for Mangere (Sorry - bit of a local joke)

Do you mean automotive spraypainting?

I think www.seek.co.nz is the biggest job search website for office-type work. I'd guess spraypainting is a bit specialist for SEEK ?¿?

You could try doing a domain limited google eg "Spraypainting" site:.nz

Those companies with a decent website are probably a little more progressive.

Good luck

TradeMe jobs is getting bigger and bigger. Not used as much by corporates but more likely by panelbeating businesses.

I assume you've been to NZ before? One word of caution, be careful not to get dragged in to the 'it was a lovely holiday, I really want to live there' scenerio. The reality of actually living in a country as apposed to being a tourist is quite a shock to some people.

If you can afford to do it jump on a plane and be prepared to stay here for a couple of months. Take a look around and make sure it's really what you want, find yourself a job with a company willing to provide you with the supporting documentation and after a while apply for residency.

This is what I did but I also had a Kiwi girlfriend/fiance which helped!
