Its a 4.2 ex Japan,don't know why they've got 4.5 on it,saw it last year and made the guy an offer then it went to ground till now.

I tried to get to see it but the guy gave me the run around. I can't believe anyone would put a bid of $28k on it though. They are devastatingly quick but a long way from being a race car. Generally there is very little in terms of performance between the 4.2 and 4.5 - it all comes down to individual cars just like any other TVR!

You dead right Jamie,this is the same one we were talking about last year,Cerbs come up every now and again in Japan which can be landed for 25k.
I hope the bidder has done his homework,left the guy my number if it turns to sh1te though.

Goodness, you're not wrong! He's got a GMC Typhoon for sale! I'd love one of those, but once again it's not registered! I drove a few of these in Saudi, and the pickup version called a Syclone. They are very, very quick for what they are. I wonder if these can be registered or if there is the same problem as with TVRs? I guess there's a possibility it could have been crash tested to an appropriate standard.
