Hadn't seen any NZ based cars in Gulf althought there may be many? Seems pricey as it's unfinished or am I wrong?

You're not wrong, but you are too tall . . . if the replica is anything like the original. Drivers taller than Richard Hammond need not apply. :P

Really. I had no idea as I've never been in one. I do like them but no so sure on the whole gearstick on the right hand side? I've seen good quality finished ones for $65K The dearest was at a dealers in Auckland for $85K

For the right Ultima, F1, and a few other things I'd manage driving

Depends very much on how they've been done - I'm 5'9 and couldn't fit in Bob Needhams but could't reach the pedals and could have worn a helmet in one that Andy Culpin was working on (owner was 6'4"
