Pukekohe Track Day in January
Discussion
Hi Everyone,
I am considering a repeat of the track day I ran on Jan 5th this year.
A bunch of you came so you will know the drill.
There would be some changes:
A Sunday slot is available (21 January), so I think it is worth the extra cost. A few people had problems attending this year because it was on a Thursday during the Christmas break.
To keep the cost around $150 each, the number of cars would be increased to around 30. (Numbers & costs not exact yet).
The format would remain the same - start off in batches to avoid crowding at the start, then relax into open track.
One car per entry.
First in, first served.
All drivers must sign indemnity forms.
Recovery vehicle and track management included. No magpie. No timing.
This year was a huge success, and I have had many people ask me to do another. Before I slap down over four grand, I want to guage the interest.
Please reply in-thread if you are *seriously* up for it. Also indicate if the previous Thursday would suit better, at a slightly reduced cost.
Cheers

Cool Richard Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
Through the week is ok, although not ideal as for a good trackday I'm happy to take a day's leave. Weekend is preferable and I'm happy to pay a premium for this but it's not essential. As I've said, apart from A1GP weekend I'm free as a bird and you can count me as a definite starter, even if I have to bring the SpaceWagon!
