Not really sure how to ask this.

A woman at work wants a ride in the Westie. Not all that unusual a request, just a blat around town.

However she's the first fuller-figure type passenger I've ever had and I have no idea what ladies are supposed to do with the top harnesses confused

I've always strapped myself in as tight as I can but I don't have bits in the way.

Without being too indelicate . . . what does an ample chested woman do with a racing harness?
No, I am not looking for pictures!!! I just embarrass very easily and don't want to end up looking like a complete pervert if she doesn't work it out for herself.

Exactly!

If she works it out for herself - Great!

If she asks me what to do - How the hell should I know ?!¿!?

You could tell her that she does not need the harness as the airbags would be more than adequate?

Did that really take 45 minutes to think up.

See, this is why I didn't post it on Pie & Piston. Does anyone actually know how larger ladies adjust their harness ?

Ok are you wanting some help mate sheeeezuz..........What are we going to do with yourofl Most blokes would be thinking all their prayers were answered with an extra set of head lights leading the way .....just relax. Shes obviously pretty outgoing for wanting a ride in a westie in the first place. Just have a laugh with her and shove her in there tell her its not pretty getting in. Once you have wedged her into the seat show her where the straps are. Perhaps help her grab the straps if she cant reach them and lay it over her shoulder, then hand her the buckles and where to stick them. She can pull on her own straps to tighten them if you show her I am assuming she wont need them race tight for cruising around town anyway?? Now about that crotch strap rofl

Thanks Kylie

I'm not planning on touching anything but I do like the odd brake-test and I'm guessing that might be a bit painful.

They're 4-point harness not 5 or 6 so there'll be no problem with crotch straps either.

I think the only people who have a problem getting in the Westie are those who won't just stand on the seat. They're not flash like Lotus seats so just stand on 'em.

I'm in the high court all next week so it will probably be the following week. There is a queue of 4 or 5 guys wanting rides so I may as well make it a whole day. driving

What position am I in that queue Graham? Can I use the carrot of a drive in a lovely Silver Elise as a bargaining tool ?

You can be either first or last as the rest will be on the north shore rather than in Newlattémarket. hehe

Must find a free weekend shortly as that'll be much better than a few laps around town on a weekday.

Just tell your boss you have a site visit driving
