Attention Southerners

Just something that may be of interest to southern PHers, this saturday is the 50th anniversary Gore Rally, 95 cars entered including a few from Aussie so should be a good day out, I'm planning on heading down to watch.

We may well try and get to this Ben - I guess these places are around Gore so I will check a map and see what's what. We may come in the Lotus if the weather is good. Otherwise we'll be in the truck!! :-) What will you be in?

I'd advise taking the truck unless you fancy taking the Elise for a blat on some unsealed roads? - stonechips would be the biggest problem I imagine.

The stage names and start times are on the link I posted before, generally you can pick up stage maps with suggested spectator points from various petrol stations in the area.

I should have a spare seat in the car if you want to go and don't mind tagging along with a couple of people you've never met. Probably leaving Dunedin 6:30-7:00 saturday morning and getting back by 6-7pm so it'll be a bit of an all-day thing.
