This is all getting a tad boring

If it helps, I was practising a different method of slide control the other day on some nice snowy hairpins - just before the apex, give a squirt on the gas and let go of the wheel - it works remarkably well once you get over the initial scariness of letting go, turns out the car is quite good at winding on about the right amount of opposite lock by itself, and then you just teak it one way or the other depending how long you want to slide for good fun

Thats more like it!great pics on the other thread by the way,but i'm a softy Jaffa that needs some Fiji sun next week.
I'm getting depressed because the novelty has worn off my car but I can't afford to modify it or swap it and probably won't be able to for twelve months. I spend my days at work going round and round car websites looking at parts and cars I can't afford. Thats about as Pistonhead-y as I've been.

With all due respect, whats happening here,"LPG conversions","Diesel NZ land speed records","Murder capital of the world",really sounds like its all happening in good old NZ,no wonder I don't hang round here too often.
I'm off to wash my hair.
I’ve had a rough week as well, been thinking about home [the UK] a lot (in a homesick sort of way ) and working really hard. I’m just really sick of winter now, it was novel at first but we haven’t had a great stretch of weather for some time now and I notice that Australia taunts me on the weather map. I’m so board I’ve signed up to a local poly tech to learn how to weld. I'm off to wash my hair.
Isn’t this why we usually have Christmas in the UK? A sort of brake and consumerist pick-me-up where we overindulge on spirits and cake then spend the next few months staring at our credit card bills and nodding/tutting in disbelief?
If it makes any one feel any better we now know how coke is made: www.guardian.co.uk/food/Story/0,,1832135,00.html (I’m not usually a Guardian reader before you lot start having me on for being a green!).
