Just got back from a few days R&R.

My wife (English) nearly had a heart attack when she picked up a 1.5kg rump steak for $15.

A mate of mine in Rotorua has a secret recipie for smoking Trout.

No, not like that

He uses 1 kind of sawdust and 2 kind of woodchips. I think ??? one of them is Kanuka but the rest is a mystery.

Great photo on the river. I never get a decent photo with the light like that.

Did you stop in at the track to see how it's coming along?

Secret to photography - take many pictures and hope one turns out

Didn't stop by the track, to late on the way down and went via the Western bays on the way back as part of a road recce for the Lotus on Track trip to NZ later in the year. Great roads, went back via the Taupo Western route (via Turangi), onto Te Awamutu via the Waipapa Rd, by passed Hamilton and back to Pukekohe via Naike and Glen Murray.
