Hi all, we haven’t done anything for a while, mainly cause of the crap weather doesn’t help eh. One suggestion as we have done before, there’s a driver training day coming up on the 13th August at Pukekohe. Run by Jaguar Club in association with BMW and Lotus Club. There’s usually a good turn out of various marques to look at and of course good to meet and greet new Phers What do you reckon? Real sorry southerners unless your planning a trip up this way?

For people wanting to enter their cars, its first in first served with members (50 people) max for the day. There are sometimes a few lucky slots for non members to participate too.

ooh, is it that time of year again? Yeah I'm keen

Don't think I'll bother entering again this year, as I'd only bother doing laps at the end of the day

But for sure, I'll be down for a look.

We need to do another run again sometime

Yeah I don’t fancy get cones stuck under the car and quite keen for blat at the end of it. I think you may have to still fork out $60.00 for a blat though? Will find out. Hoping Black Beauty has had all her birthday presents given to her before then. She’s missed not being at home at the mo

Anyway theres one option at Puke, or we could find a nice pub on the out skirts somewhere for another date and a drive as you mentioned.

Thanks for thwe invitation Wayne, but at $1.81/litre I don't fancy the 10,000 miles to get there. Have a great day at Goodwood.

Like a Legacy, but shorter and higher?

PS I'm keen for a S.I. meet, but the next few weekends are pretty booked up.

Depending on certain conditions i might be able to show you all the wonders of a 4WD Skyline with a gearbox whine not too dissimilar to a racing gearbox.

Ruddy thing.

Did you try its 4wd system out in the snow when we had it? Mates ATTESSA Stagea was a fair bit more tail-happy than mine in the snow, does the R32 have the same system?

Yup, as far as i know. I didn't drive it in the snow though as the gearbox problem could be terminal if i keep driving it. And the snow never settled on the ground out here.

Well, I'm online again with shiny new computer. I'm afraid I'm praying for rain for the 13th as it's my son's birthday.I like the sound of a winter outing though....

So whos signed up for Sundays Driver Training day at Puke or coming out for a cruise?

Weather permitting I guess. Still havent got my car back, promised Thursday. Am a bit worried I need to get it tweaked a few times before it will be running perfect. Hopefully not though.

Was supposed to just spend <$1K on the carbs and I got carried away as per usual.

Ended up with a refurbished turbo and wastegate. $$$
Fabricated new exhaust
A heap work under front of car
Wiring
Cooling systems, the list goes on and on

Oh well things we do for enjoyment eh!

Post some pics when shes home.
