Road closure for Rally at Waipu
Discussion
Being a part time shit kicker I only get up to our patch of paradise once or twice a week. Anyhoo I need to go up tommorrow (Saturday) but Millbrook road www.waipu.co.nz/maps/waipumap2.html is closed from 11 until 3 for a rally stage running from Taipa to Waipu (According to the sign on the side of the road). Anyone know if I'll be let me through in the Delcia to reach our land, or am I facing a walk in from the Helmsdale road on the other side of our block? "Mate I'm a competitor she's awd with a turbo 2.8" yeah right.
Having no experience of Rallying, no box yet for mail or even which organisation is running the event (Yes I should have read the sign more carefully) just hoping some one might have an idea.
Cheers

Well if you get there before 11 and don't leave until after 3 you can...
Or even if you are there after 11 but well before the zero car goes through (should be able to find out approx. time from rally organisers) they may let you through if you explain the situation and promise not to try and come out until after the stage has finished.

Thanks for the advice
I was there too late and wanted to leave before three so I had to yomp it. Fencing gear gets heavy when you are lugging it up hill. Saw a bit of the action in the distance from our road mostly turbo awds based on the over run bangs. No Binoculars :-(
