CARS . . . The Pixar movie

Saw the shorts for it the other night when I went to Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift
, really looks quite good, I might have to go and see it even without any kids.
Tokyo drift was better than expected too actually, some reasonably nice driving (somewhat lacking in realism as usual) but better than F&F and 2F2F. Though they did commit ultimate sacrilege by dropping an SR20DET into a '66 Mustang
An amusing aside to look out for if you do watch it, at a couple of points there are some old men sitting on a wharf fishing, making derogatory comments about the driving of the main character. One of those guys (in a blue jacket) looked familiar, it took me a while to click but its a certain Keiichi Tsuchiya, more commonly known as the Drift-King (or Dori Kin in Japan) - www.driftclub.com/DriftKing.htm , who is probably the all-time most famous drifter of all.
Oh and theres another funny bit at the end, but I won't spoil that one for you...
