A streak of blinding light came through the window this morning, didn't know what it was. Oh shit its the sun shining - I forgotten what the sun looked like of late.
Grabbed the keys and rushed black beauty out the door while the sun lasted. Arrhhh satisfaction!!

hehe you're better off than I, my silver bullet hasn't even turned a wheel in 2 weeks.... I could have taken it for a drive this morning but it's meant to PI$$ down very shortly according to metservice so didn't think it was worth it.

After reading this i opened the curtains and i can see blue sky! I live in Hamilton and so I'd better go and do some driving before it disappears again.

Ps george after doing some research i don't think those elise parts toe links fit fat arsed yota engined cars.

Too slow its gone again!

I'm going to sit in the car, in the garage with the door open , waiting, just incase it comes back again.

well better to miss the sunshine than to get caught out in a downpour Andy.

I think the toe links are different on your car... hopefully we've found the 5 we need for the discount and we might get an order off late this week so I should be all set for the next on-track adventure

Managed to arse-over on the driveway going to the letterbox.

Time for some Wet 'n' Forget or a superior sense of balance.

Sounds like a bit of both is required mate!

Must have been the day for skids. I did the splits in the garage on the smooth concrete floor, where the wet tyres left their mark going back into garage after the drive. Was trying to put the car cover on neatly and the old leg stepped out wooaaahhh!!, thankfully the neighbours didn't see it and no carnage.

If you've had enough, how about sending us some over in Oz? South east Qld, to be exact.
We've had only 1/2" in the last 6 weeks. My car has not even seen a damp road in 3 months.
Brisbane is about to go to an even stricter water restriction level. Gardens will only be watered by bucket, which seams to be an exercise in futility.

Well of course Oz sends us our weather with a "No return or exchange" policy. If you want it . . . Keep It ! ! !

I used to complain about Auckland's weather, but then i went for a holiday to scotland in the "summer". Take a look at www.ukweather.com and feel grateful!

Sounds like to me that you guys over there dont have cars that keep out the rain.... christ, if you lived in Aberdeen (UK) you'd never get out.

Have a nice day over there, hope the sun comes out for you

No flooding at all. Thats the estuary and the water purification/treatment wetlands.

Hi

I finally got the Caterham on the road on Saturday.. guess what it did on Sunday? Scotland would have been proud of the rain, hail, wind and temperatures.. Maybe it was just trying to make Jim Kerr feel at home. (good gig BTW)

Still things are improving and I'm off to play at Manfield on Sunday thanks to the Constructor's Car Club. They call the day a "Picnic".. but as it is at a track I think I know what they mean....

Now where did I put those slicks??
