does this work?
Discussion
I've just realised I can now upload videos to photobucket as well as pics, so thought I'd try one:

so does that link work for anyone? I can see it (at much degraded size/quality from original) but wondering if its accessible to everyone.
its just a very short clip of mine from last years Otago Rally.

It tells me I have to log in as you to be able to dee it. I think theres a box somewhere which you have to tick, says "share with the public" or something along those lines.

If it's August you'll be wanting the wet-line won't you ?
I was also amazed at how different the Porsche lines are compared to most other things at some tracks, but then with the weight that far back I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised at all . . .
Haha was just typing that. Yes you do need to approach things differantly with a big lump of engine hanging over the back wheels. They're great performers straight out of the box tho. And that weight over the axles offers heaps of grip.
Kiwi LE Click on this link www.motorsport.org.nz/Circuits/circuits.htm
Has track layouts etc. We use the one for Manfield when doing driver training days and coaching etc. Just click on the Manfield link.

Nice vid, need to get some idea of the line at Manfield for the track day in August.
Anyone got a full lap showing the dry track lines ?
Kiwi Le...not quite what you wanted as it was on a damp track and it was my first time on the track in the 993. The line from Coca Cola through to Castrol was a bit wrong as you usually run out a bit wider and come in a bit shallower at Castrol but on the day there was a bit of oil from a skyline right on the correct line. You can hear the 993 hit the limiter in 4th at 198kmph on the front and back straight Quickest time on a dry track was a 1.21. Another good thing if you get the chance is to walk the track or at least drive it at a low speed. Believe me you learn heaps.

Pfft Dean, what are you worried about? ou're still gonna kick my arse by a good 10 seconds or so! I heard Scoot's Evo 8 managed a 1:15.5 around there in the intermarques..... mind you that's on FUL slicks with a lot of work, big turbo etc etc
I'll be happy for under 1:25 Aiming for my usual title of quickest car on street rubber.... can be all legit now you're on cheater' tyres
Hehe juss kidding.... it's gonna be a lot of fun... can't wait to learn Manfield... been a spectator there so often
