Just bought this for commuting

Just put the deposit down on a Suzuki Ignis sport. Iv'e been looking for something cheap to run with decent performance that will put a smile on my face. Time for the Elise to spend its weekdays in the garage. This should keep me smiling the handling is very good the brakes are strong and the engine very lively with buckets of torque for a 1500cc that only has to pull 1000kg. The plan is to run it into the ground.

not bad.... very impressed with the late model Suzukis.... we've got one of the brand new Swift 1500s at work in the carpool alongside a corolla and a Mazda6..... I'd pick the suzuki over the both of them unless I was doing some major miles (and that's considering the Mazda6 is a cracking car)..... possibly my pick of all the small cars at the moment from a "does what it says on the tin and does it well" standpoint.
Picked it up yesterday. I'm realy pleased, the high seating position and grunty little engine make it perfect for driving round Wellington. Ground clearance is is very decent so no more scrapes over dodgy gutters. It rolls a bit more than the Elise but what wouldn't? Greaat fun for small money.
When the bank funds recover I'll be able to fix all the niggles on the Elise without having to worry about getting it back in one piece at the end of each weekend.
