It might be a 'bug-eye' but it ain't no Rex with a STi do-up . . . it's a real one.

Pistols at dawn . . .

Nope.

WRX STi's are assembled by Subaru and fitted with STi bits.

STi's are assembled by STi with some additional bits that the Rex's don't have . . . and are the ones that count for the homologation numbers.

Either way it's a heavy lump and not a Lotus, Londa or Hotus.

they still go pretty good though

well I've never tried a bug-eye, but the v2 STi-RA ltd I drove went pretty well mind you I've never had the priveledge of trying anything Lotusey (or even remotely comparable to one) to compare it with.

any volunteers to bring a Lotus down south to show off?

I've got a slight suspicion that it's Dean's office Christmas Party tonight.

(I realised the other day that all N/A Imprezas have drum brakes on the back! I was rather shocked actually)

With a roof-rack . . .

And a 'Baby on board' sign . . .

And a 'Speed Kills' bumper sticker . . .

And a 'Green Party' bumper sticker . . .

spewing nasty smoke all over the place

And offensively shiny plastic hubcaps. . .

And bald tyres...

Still ? ! ?

That must have been a record setting effort.

You obviously won't remember much so will have to wait for the photos to be posted on the office noticeboard in the New Year.
